My GSD comes from working lines and so she is extremely ball driven. It helps keep the pounds off that she'd rather do work for a tennis ball toss rather than a puppy treat.

I am teaching her the names of all her toys right now so I will be trying the hide-and-seek for her toy idea I think.

My dog loves playing a game of flyball. The hardest part is trying to hold her back while I throw the ball!

Thats so helpful although my dog doesnt quite know how to fetch. she is a 4 year old lab and is too cooky to remember things like that. but i think these games are a cheap way of getting her mentally and physically tired.

Great ideas! I've often wondered if my dog gets tired of just walking/running but couldn't afford the high priced agility equipment...thanks!

HI everyone, i am 12 and have two golden retreivers, 1 male and 1 female, the amles name is Ransom, and the females name is Cinnamon, they just turned six yesterday (December 31). i got time to make them a little treat amde of chesse slices, peanut butter and dog treats, they suprisingly likes it alot. my two goldens are brother and sister, they came from a litter of 14 puppies, 12 girls and 2 boys.we got Ransom a few months after birth and Cinnnamon when she was a bout three, unfortunaly when cinny was full grown so i didnt get to see her as a baby :(, anyways i have been thinking of building an a-frame for them to play on but never got around to it, but hopefully once the snow is gone i will start, i also play soccer with them and a few games ai made up. and here is some other info on my goldens, Ransom is a perfectly healthy, hyper boy and Cinny isnt as much, she has joint disease in her hind legs so she has a had a few surgerys, she is over weight but all this is very common, since she was spayed at a yopung age, this is how she is but ai love her alot.
