My cocker spaniel is 5yrs old and is now developing a skin probllem. I brush her hair a few times a week and she's groomed every 4-6 wks. I had to change her dog food to Hills bros Presciptions to reduce the chance of urinary crystals. Is it the dog food?

This is a comment for Gordon about his dogs ear infection. My cockerspaniel had an ear infection for the longest time and was on special antibiotics compounded just for him,but I also changed his dog for to Royal Canin for cockerspaniels and the infection cleared right up.This food was the answer to my dogs problems. It contained all of the vitamins that the breed requires.

Hi my Cocker Spaniel Joe is 13 years old and has had an ear infection for over a year now, repeated visits to the vet and many different medications swabs to the lab etc have not worked. I have been using Aurizon ear drop suspension after cleaning the ear with limited success. Joe is deaf and his ear is not uncomfortable for him, he does not scratch it or rub it on furniture etc. I have also used a water and vinegar 50/50 solution again with little success. The fluid from the ear is a greenish fluid and if untreated smells. The hair under the ear is now starting to fall out. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Sophy is Almost 10 weeks old. She is a great dog, however, I can't seem to get her to stop useing our clean white/vanelia carpert as a peeing pad. The women we got her off of must have allowed her to get into some bad habits. We love the dog , but we cannot have this. Have any advice!
