Are breeders allowed to advertise in this publication? If so and anyone for Dog Channel reads this, please respond to my email.

I now have a Siberian Husky and a boxer, both breeds I love. The Siberian is my boy. We walk just about every day, he is so full of energy. He obeys well, but will try his luck on other people. He is extremely smart. Top of his class. He can open doors, including his dog door, which I had to put a lock with key on. He loves to jump, loves his sister the boxer and hates it when she isn't with him. However, because of his hunting skills, he will kill any small animal. He is amazing at catching birds when outside in the yard. Poor birds. Skunks too, unfortunately. He loves kids and all people. My niece who is just a baby, crawls on him while supervised. He seems to love it. He is one who needs to be busy mentally and physically. I allow him a digging area. If you have lots of energy, no small animals, love to walk and play with dogs, and teach them tricks, he is the dog for you! :)

I plan to hike with my two Siberian Huskies on a backpacking trip for three days right after the new year...Depending on the temperature and how much snow we get between then and now, do you think the dogs will require boots. We're spending the first night in a lean-to and the second night at my friends uncles house... Thanks for the advise!

I have been owned and loved by Northern Breeds - namely Siberians and Mals since I was 14. These are my favorite breeds - now and forever!

I LOVE siberian huskies! i have one of my own called Astro and he is still a puppy. they are a very lovable breed and highly energetic. we take him for runs regularly. it's amazing how an animal can be so efficient in it's own, personal way. =D

The Siberian Husky is truly the best dog in the world. They are great with children and they are always calm and loving. Also, if you are looking for a guard dog Siberian Huskies are not good guard dogs at all. They are so friendly they woun't do much they will just sit around wagging there tails. Anyway they are so cute cuduly and friendly they make exalent
dogs.

P.S. I am a 10 year old.

Siberian Huskies are wonderful pets to have. However, they are not always a good match for everyone. They require a great deal of time to excercise and a lot more for training. They must be trained from day 1! They certainly do have a mind of their own and are know to be stubborn. I have 2 of my own and I absolutely enjoy every moment with them. After a year of advanced training, both are well trained OFF-LEASH; it is possible, but requires a great deal of work. =) Amazing dogs! I love the breed!

The Siberian Husky is an acquired taste like so many of the finer things in life. We were foster failures while completing the processes to enter a foundling into Southern Siberians Rescue. Kodi is a love and he was the greatest canine challenge that we have endured both collectively and individually. The Siberian Husky is unique and brilliant and presents a steep learning curve for those who desire their companionship.

Great dogs!!! Beware that they have a mind of their own and can get into many things!!! Never trust them off a leash. Would not trade mine for anything!!! Have a good vacuum cleaner. Enjoy them for all they are worth.

thanks for the details. i would also include their broad chest which provides the pulling power and that their front paws are much larger than their hind paws. we have a wonderful young female husky. she is so interesting from a personality and adapatation perspective. she is so friendly especially to children. in fact i am bringing her into a local elementary school for a science class.
