thank you. I have all of these things along side items I will need too. I sent for information from Fema.gov and combined all info together. I also copied info from our local ASPCA. phone#, addresses etc. there can't be too much info or being too preparededness.plan to share the info with local groups and dog clubs too.

Nice tutorial. I ended up purchasing one for my dad for Father's Day gift at PetsReady.com. Looks like they have all the right items and the price is right.

I ended up purchasing the kits from
http://www.petsready.com/preparedness-kits-c-28. html

Got one Standard for my dog and one customized for my cat. Total damage under $100 for both. Cant beat that with a stick.

Everyone should have a disaster kit prepared for their cats and dogs, as well as for themselves.

Keep it by the front door or whatever door is most likely to be used for exit in event of a disaster.

keep food, water and medication refreshed every 4-6 months.

Since my dog has hair and not fur and can get cold easily, I would opt to put a light weight but warm blanket in the kit as well.

Bless Us All.

I was unable to view the "webisode". Nice idea, but even better when it works! This is the 2nd one I tried and could not view either one. Is there something I'm missing?

I think it's a great idea to make a safety kit incase of an emergency! I LOVE my dog and he's my best friend. I would never want anything like this to happen to
him!
