Jenny Gettysburg, PA 8/10/2008 6:53:05 PM This is great information and all new puppy owners should read this!!!
Pat San Angelo, TX 8/8/2008 10:47:58 PM A useful article. We all want to socialize our puppies and expose them to new and interesting stimuli, but at what age (and what point in their vaccine schedule) has been a point of confusion.
Cherie Monaca, PA 8/8/2008 10:39:56 PM Kathie, Have you tried a DAP Diffuser? It seems to be helping my stressed out dogs. Drs foster and Smith has them on sale right now.
Cherie Monaca, PA 8/8/2008 6:17:11 PM It is hard to find ways to socialize puppies - no one wants the responsibility(liability) of getting puppies together "at their place" so this is hard to follow. Even Petsmart wants to limit socialization inside and outside classes.
Cheril Amarillo, TX 8/8/2008 6:48:26 AM I am looking to get a new puppy in the near future. This is good information to know! Thanks, as always, for the info!
Kathie Brewer, ME 8/8/2008 5:41:07 AM My weim. who is about three was a normal, happy puppy for the first year of his life. I, unfortunately, rented in a place that was broken into a few times. I kept him crated (to prevent puppy destruction). He was unable to protect himself. He hasn't been the same since and does suffer from fear aggression. Nothing I have tried has worked with him. I cannot afford seeing a behavioral specialist. I will never crate another animal again (I was more concerned about puppy destruction on a rental).
