I BELIVE THIS THE MOST HORRIBLE THING ANYONE COULD DO, ANIMAL'S HAVE A BRAIN AND DON'T DESERVE THIS KIND OF ABUSE. THE OWNER'S SHOULD BE PUNISHED FOR THIS ACT. WHAT IF SOMEONE DECIDE TO KILL THEIR KIDS THIS WAY BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT THEM. THIS IS SENDING MIXED MESSAGES OUT TO THE WORLD.WHERE ARE THE POLICE TO PROTECT THIS KIND OF CRIME? PENN. SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO HAVE DOG'S IN THEIR STATE!!!

This is appalling. Whats to stop these animal killers from going into business again under another name with a new license? The animal killers belong in prison and should experience the same inhumane treatment that these poor dogs encountered while in their care. If the legislation doesn't change the law then they are just as guilty as these animal killers and they all should do time in prison. This just isn't right.

When is the PA law going to wake up and get with the times. Shooting any animal is so inhumane and cruel. It is a crime that should be punished in the same way as people who kill other people are punished. Who can deny that a dog is devoted, loving, and loyal to it's owner? Dogs show emotions and fear. They may not be human, but they are surely close enough to it! We need to get together as PA residents and fight to pass a law against this kind of treatment to animals!!!

The Amish are suppose to such religious people, Bologne! Do they not think that God is watching. Besides that, what does dog spell backwards? I am so sick and feel so helpless about this act of animal cruelty. I watch those animal cop shows on Animal Planet and wish that PA would have such a force in the state. Or, perhaps the mennonites/Amish feel they are above our laws, and even if the H.B. 2525 is past, they will continue to do as they please. We need to go after these type of people to stop them from abuse, if they can do this to animals, what do you think they'd do with a human?

I am shocked and amazed that no one has killed these worthless "people" yet. People bomb clinics and shut down everything else they don't like. If someone were to kidnap and torture these two, I would nominate them for sainthood and build a shrine. Their human lives do not measue up to the lives of those dogs, not even close. I think they should be made aware, look out, you are in our sites.

The problem is that everyone is concerned about the all-mighty dollar!!!! Killing those dogs is truly a disgrace to the human race! These animals did not deserve to die.. It is a sin that those people earn a living off of any animal~! If something is not legally done, those heartless people will start their animal-raping business again!!!

When a kennel owner in the past may have needed to put an animal down, then I can see that maybe being justified. These owners knew they were in the wrong and did not want to be fined or spend money to take care of them, I can not understand why this would not then be considered on the same lines as pre-meditated murder.
'
If a cop sees a drug deal going down and chases the drug dealer but he throws the drugs out of car, does the cop then stop chasing suspect and does not pursue an arrest?? Just because he got rid of evidence does not make the drug dealer innocent. That is what these puke morons did..they knew what they had done was criminal and got rid of eveidence. They should both be charged with the crimes. That law just makes it so easy for any breeder to raise any amount of dogs and when they decide they are too costly, they just get rid of them. The breeding of dogs needs to be stopped as a business. I dont think animals should be up for sale the way this country allows it. WE are suppose to be a more intelligent nation but I feel we are going backwards very quickly.

This is an OUTRAGE! But until the state changes the law there isn't much anyone can do, which really BITES!! I wish that the government sees how wrong this is and does something about it.

I'll tell you why they breed, their dogs are livestock therefore, they are breeding and selling for income. How do you stop people from making a living on animals? That is what farmers do. Alot of these breeders are Amish and Menonites. Didn't you see Oprah's show where they went undercover to Lancaster County, PA? It was horrifying.

I agree with Pat from Chicago. We have to come up with a plan to determine what constitutes a Puppy Mill verses a Licensed Kennel. Reputable breeders generally show their dogs and make sure they place pups in good homes. You really go through alot to prove yourself worthy to purchase a dog from them. These breeders that sell dogs to who knows who and they are everywhere on the internet and in the paper, they have to be stopped.

This is such a sad story. I can not believe that it is legal ANYWHERE to shoot a dog...just because. When will law makers wake up and do something about puppy mills! Get rid of the puppy mills and your states/cities will be paying less for your shelters/pounds/humane
societies.

Those poor dogs.

How about just shutting down ALL puppy mills. That is what commercial breeders are! Confiscate the dogs and close the mills! PA must be living in the stone age!
