Its good to know that people will step up and help when its needed. We need more agencies that will help protect our animals in disasters.

I am SO disgusted with these fools that not only leave their animals behind BUT chain them up so they can't get away to safety. I teach pet first aid & disaster planning for the American Red Cross. I think everyone NEEDS to take this class to know what to do for their pets in an emergency. YOU CAN'T LEAVE THEM TO FEND FOR THEMSELVES!! Why do people do this always amazes me. Come on folks think!!

It is so great we have agencies who care so much for our animals and are there when needed most.

Wonderful! Animals are my passion, especially dogs. I have always wanted to help rescue them after something like this, but never knew who to get in touch with to do so.
