There are probably a lot of Goldens named Buddy from that movie!! Other then that, he's my BEST BUDDY, so it fits!! I love him to death!! GO Buddy!!!

We kept the runt from their litter, we named her Abby. We have a cat named Daisy. I did have a pygmy goat named Buddy. Although some also stole buddy(and his partner Boots,) when they got out of their pen and were eating the tall grass by the road. We have an Americana hen named Houdini.

She walks like a lady, and is very special to me.comes to me when I am crying to console me. I also have a Calico cat with brown and black patches over her.The person whom I got her from named her Patch very fitting, I'd say. Lady and Patch get along quite well. I love them both.

My dogs names are: Sable, Savannah (Sable found her as a three-week old in our field),Sassy, Duke, Chi-Chi Rodriguez (one of our friends named him), Hercules, Dusty, Ivan-T. and then there is Pierre, Lafonte, Bartholomew, Wicker (another friend of ours named him with all these names; but it fits for the length of the dog). We call him "Bart" for short. Then there is our cat Buster Brown, because he used to break out of the house through the dryer vent and he is Brown or Tan.

Stephanie Minnesota, MN 11/21/2009 9:39:09 AM Does not surprise me that Buddy is most popular name. It reflects the relationship we all crave with our best friend our dog. My son found a lost Doberman when he was a kid and that was the name he called it also. Comes naturally. My own dogs are two toy Poodles we call Cherry and Tammy. And a Lab/Border Collie we call Shelby. We tend to choose feminine names for the girls and masculine for the boys. Just us and our way. Do it your way and you and your dog(s) will be happier !

annette san francisco, CA 11/20/2009 12:02:22 PM we have a 8yr old bichon....max. my husband wanted a "manly" name for such a little fluff of a dog!!! i don't think it matters which type of name you choose...it should be something you like. also, it should be short...makes it eaiser to get a command out, especially in an emergency. i wonder why our new First Dog was named BO???? it sounds too much like NO. just my opinion.
