Steve Elburn, IL 9/6/2009 11:41:21 AM Kellie Pickler performed at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo in 2008 and 2009. The Cheyenne Rodeo is perhaps the most cruel rodeo in the world. It is very hard to understand how someone who claims to love animals can partner with such a vicious and brutal group of people.
Darl Houlton, ME 9/6/2009 8:04:31 AM We're saddened that Ms. Pickler, a confirmed animal lover, chooses to perform at rodeos, where animals are routinely abused in order to enhance the rodeo contestants' scores and paychecks. At this year's Cheyenne rodeo in July where she perform, at least one horse death was confirmed, while the condition of others was not released because the rodeo felt the public does not have the right to know.

Natalie Austin, TX 7/23/2009 11:26:49 AM It's lovely that Ms. Pickler has such a great love for animals, especially dogs. Except, I do not like the fact that she has a pet monkey. These animals are wild; they are SO uncomfortable living in captivity! I strongly discourage people who are considering getting a monkey or any other "wild" animal as a pet.
