I think this shoud be addressed in the USA also. I was turned down for an apartment because I have two chihuahuas and the apartment complex had a list of breeds they would not allow. My dogs have done just find in the apartment we live in now.

Would like to see movement in that area in this country. Too many cities have breed-specific laws.

Way to Go Brits!!! Now Maybe The US Will Take Note Of This And Do The Same.... I Dog Sit For A Doberman Pincher And I To Was Ignorant Of Dog Breeds.... I Have Had The Honor To Have Been Loved By Her And Cannot Believe I Was So Afraid To Even Meet Her.... These Dogs Are Not Born Mean It Is Their Owners Who Turn Them Into This.... Don't Punish The Breed ---- Punish The People Who Do This To Them....

Hooray for the BVA! Wherever it's been enacted, breed-specific legislation has not proven to improve public safety. Here's more info: http://www.ilovedogs.com/blog/?p=3265
