Always good to have as much information as possible. Nothing takes the place of real-time history and physical examination.

Internet searches are good but can get confusing. I didn’t know what was wrong with my dog until the vet tested him and we found out he has a chicken allergy. I never would have known to put him on the LID potato & duck natural balance food without her suggestion. He’s so healthy now and I thank my vet for this.

I think the internet is a great place to learn all kinds of things, including health information about one's dog. I usually do that before I go to the vet so that I'm armed with some knowledgeable information about my dog's condition.
