McKinley Dana, NC 7/8/2011 2:39:16 PM Sounds like something that I would eat. We've had some hot weather lately, so I will definitely try it. Do you think that my little Border Collie would share it with me?
DC Web Editor Irvine, CA 7/8/2011 8:56:21 AM Hi everyone, I saw the questions and wanted to share an article that has some additional information about yogurt and people foods that your dogs can also enjoy: http://www.dogchannel.com/dog-magazines/dogworld/d- og-world-extras/10-best-foods-to-feed-your-senior-- dog.aspx (copy and paste this into your browser). It is important to use plain (no sugar added) yogurt to help decrease the amount of sugar your dog is taking in. You can also replace some of the juice with water if you are concerned about your dogs sugar intake. Most importantly remember to feed these fun treats in moderation.
Trish Osawatomie, KS 7/7/2011 10:50:49 PM I seem to be the only one who's raising an eyebrow in question wondering if that sugar is good for the dogs. If I'm worryiing for nothing, then tomorrow is "pawsicle" day!
Marilyn Sweet Home, OR 7/7/2011 7:45:01 PM Thank you for the article. The doggy pops in the stores are $1.00 a piece. I am going to try this. Dexter is very fussy when it comes to eating.
Betsy Cleveland, OH 7/7/2011 7:10:29 PM Cow's milk is not good for anyone (except baby cows, of course). Substitute it with rice milk or soy milk/soy yogurt.
Gloria Sun City, AZ 7/7/2011 4:31:56 PM I was under the impression that milk (cow) is not good for dogs. Yet in the pupsicle recipe, one of the 3 ingredients is yogurt. Yogurt is a milk product with enzymes. Please explain why it is okay to give my dog yogurt. Does it have to do with the enzymes?
Isabel Medford, OR 8/24/2010 6:29:49 PM It sounds great I never thought of it. My beautiful babies love ice cubes now. I'm surely going to make them.

Susie Brandon, FL 9/18/2008 5:06:30 AM I saw on a previous poll asking if you'd volunteer to help dogs. 22% said they would but don't know where. I have the answer! Animal shelters; they are everywhere in every city across America. I do and I love doing my part to help dogs and cats and bunnies! Very rewarding. It is a new passion in my life!
