I am happy to have read this article because I have two beautiful dogs that I love so much but I never thought that it was so important to neuter them. I have a 8 years old and a almost 2 year old. I will find a place cheap and take them to have the surgery. I feel better knowing that the surgery is not dangerous or painful. Thank you for your article.

My 6 month old Lurcher underwent the surgery two days ago and he has been absolutely fine....I don't even think he has noticed what he has been through! The vets were great supplying him with a cone collar (which he managed to tear off) and pain killers to last a week. The vet rang me the following day to check he was ok. He is going for his check up tomorrow and despite not wearing his cone collar I think he is absolutely fine and acting just as normal!
