I have tried everything with my Pug Annabella but she still wont let me cut her nails. She screams like a kid an pulls her paw away. What else can I do?

My dog, obtained as an adult, never tried to bite me when I wanted to clip her nails. However, she'd fuss and jerk her paw away, start licking my face and acting playful, or screaming bloody murder--a couple of times I was sure I'd cut the quick but it was just the Drama Queen. In addition, I didn't have an assistant or any fancy equipment to hold her in place. So I started bribing her. Little tiny bits of treat. For every nail, she got a treat. Believe it or not, she now lets me cut all her nails in one sitting! She's still not crazy about it, but she sees that there's something in it for her.

These were good suggestions, although not realistic in my situation. Not everybody can have a grooming table or have a way to hang a noose!
